Quest: Hidden Truth

In browsing some forums I found reference to this quest walkthrough. Seems like a pretty good quest from what I've skimmed.

There are 5 quests in the series. All available at level 64.

Rewards from the series are:
100,000 adena
B grade Jewelry (2 or 3 pieces depending on choices made during the quest)

Even if you are working on A grade Jewelry and have complete B grade Jewelry, I'd say the quest is worth doing if only to crystalize the Jewelry and sell the crystals.

A little pvp...

We received a tip about the location of some members of an enemy alliance so we put together a party of 4 and went after them.

This is how it ended up.



We moved on to get a little xp before the siege and we came across this bunch...



A short time later they came back for more. It ended like this.

Quest: An Obvious Lie (Cat, Racoon, or Rabbit Ear Accessory)

Total Quest time using Gate Keeper and Scrolls of Escape, 30 minutes or less

Quest Reward, Cat, Racoon, or Rabbit Ear Accessory

1) High Priest Maximilian is the start point for this quest. He can be found inside Giran Castle Town specifically in Einhasad Temple. He asks of you to find Trader Gentler who can (also in Giran Castle Town) be found due south in the Magic Shop.

2) Trader Gentler is in the Giran magic shop. He tells you that if you find his cat Mickey, whom had gone to get herbs, he will give you a great reward. He further tells you that Mickey was last heard of in the Enterance to the Devils Isle.

3) To get to Devils Isle take the Giran Gate Keeper to the "Enterance of Giran." Once at the Enterance of Giran, follow the road due North West over the bridge. Soon, the path with turn South and lead you to a dock and the enterance to the Pirate Tunnel. You will be swimming across the Pirate Tunnel to Devils Isle. You will need to get Kiss of Eva or be able to heal, its a decent swim. The undead monsters during your swim are passive and will leave you alone, fear not. When at last you surface for air, you should be standing looking at a cove of treasure on your left, and a waterfall to your right.

4) Once in Devils Isle, walk thru the water fall across from the treasure chest cove. You will be in a vast cavern with a broken ship. Mickey the Cat is in this same cavern. Speak with him, and he will tell you that you need to collect 20 herbs from the alligators at Alligator Island. Scroll of Escape back to Giran Castle Town, take the port to Hiene, and take the port to Enterance to the Alligator Island.

5) Once you have ported or ran to Alligator Island, you will need to kill 20 alligators. You will get one herb per alligator. Once you have collected all twenty return to Giran Castle Town and visit Trader Gentler in the Magic Shop.

6) In Giran Castle Town, head to Trader Gentler in the Magic Shop. He will now inform you that he needs 500 Spirt Ore to Complete his task. This costs about 200,000 Adena. Once you have given Trader Gentler the spirt ore he tells you Mikey the Cat will pay you for your troubles. Time to head back to Devils Isle. If you have forgotten refer back to step (3).

7) Devils Isle, Mickey the Cat tells you Trader Gentler is giving you the run around. New meaning to the in game scam I suppose. Head back to Giran and talk to Gentler again.

8) Return to Trader Gentler, now that hes been caught he asks for one more set of supplies before he will make any form of payment for you. He asks for 1000 Thread and 500 Suede This will cost about 500,000 Adena. One he recieves these supplies your quest is at an end.

9) Reward and Quest Finish. After you have given Trader Gentler his thread and suede he pays you in the form of a hair accessory. You can choose from Cat, Racoon, or Rabbit ears.

Quest to Baium: An Arrogant Search

An Arrogant Search

1. The quest starts in Aden Castle Town. Go to the Dark Elf Guild and talk to Hanellin.

2. She asks you to bring her back a titan power stone You can obtain this by hunting Lesser elder, or lesser mage giants at Giants Cave.

3. Return to the Dark Elf Guild, and speak to Hanellin again.

4. Talk to Athebalt, she is out the north exit towards the castle.

5. Go to the Cemetary, close to where the raid boss is and talk to this chest (Holy Ark of Secrecy2). An angel will appear, you will have to fight him. Then talk to the chest again. Once you've done this return to Athebalt.

Now go to Giran. And talk to Martien.

6. You'll have to run out of Giran towards Dion. The chest is up on a mountain. You will have to talk to the cheast then an archer (looks like a platnum tribe) appears, he is easy to disposed of. Talk to the chest (Holy Ark of Secrecy3).

7. Go now to Dark Eleven Village. Once there go to the Dark Elf Temple to the north. Go inside and speak to Magister Harne.

8. You'll run out of Dark Eleven Village and head south towards the mountians. Once there you'll find the arc guardians corpse. TALK TO THIS FIRST NOT THE CHEST! When you talk to it, this nasty angel killer guy appears. So of course you'll have to lay the smack down on his unholy arse. Talk to the corpse to get the key then talk to the chest.Go back to Dark Eleven Village and talk to Magister Harne then return to Giran and talk to Martien.

-The corpse is up a small ravine. and sitting by its self.

The chest isn't near the Guardian but go back down the ravine and to the left you'll see large rocks, the chest (Holy Ark of Secrecy1) is there.

9. Return to Aden, and talk to Hanellin again. She gives you a shopping list. Go buy 1 healing pot and 5 antidotes, then return to her.

10. Once you return to her, she asks some questions. It doesnt matter what you choose. You will get the white cloth and 49k adena.

11. Form a group and go hunt Platinum Tribe Shamans and Overlords to obtain the bloody fabrics. Once you have the bloody fabrics, do NOT talk to the NPC again. Otherwise, he will take all of your fabrics and you will have to start the quest over again.

You can now use the bloody fabrics to port in to see Baium at the top of Tower of Insolence.
